Our LED T8 tube with a built-in motion sensor detects motion with a state-of-the-art infrared sensor. The motion sensor saves energy by turning off or dimming the tube when there is no activity. When motion triggers the sensor in the tube, it switches to full brightness. If no motion is sensed for a while, the tube turns off again or dims.

The motion sensor tubes are available as a) an adjustable model and b) a factory preset model. The adjustable model allows you to adjust the brightness of the tube (during the time it is not active). The tube can be set to remain off until triggered, or at 10%, 20%, 30%, or 40% brightness. Once triggered by activity/motion, the tube will be fully illuminated for the time period selected on the controls. Time periods from 5 seconds to 1 hour can be selected.
